Don't Drink burnt coffee

Seriously, don't. It's gross.

Coffee is complex. Each bean carries a unique makeup that shapes the flavors inside. But too often, we’ve grown used to coffee that’s over-roasted, burnt, and we cover it up with sugar and milk in the name of a caffeine fix. The truth is, you don’t have to drink burnt coffee. You shouldn’t. Coffee is more like fine wine or a perfectly cooked steak. It’s meant to be savored, explored, and enjoyed. Coffee is a journey, and my goal is to help you discover it, one cup at a time.

Here is how I do it:

Where do I source green (or raw) coffee?
- So many random places....
- I make sure my sources work directly with the farmers. I want to do this one too but it's very expensive and takes time to build relationships with farmers (so one day). The coffee industry has been known to be unfair to farmers, taking advantage of them for a profit. Thankfully there has been a change in recent years and the coffee industry calls this "fair trade". A very expensive and tedious title but one that goes a long ways.
- I also only source high quality coffee. Because we are here to change the game! Not make a ton of profit keeping you caffeinated. That being said, on coffee bags you should see a "masl" which stands for "meters above sea level". The higher the elevation, usually means the higher the quality of the bean. This is because they take longer to grow the higher the coffee berries are grown, but you get more flavor in the bean. Typically around 2000 masl. This isn't always the case and I occasionally will have a low elevation option, but don't ever buy a bag of beans of that don't have the elevation labeled. It probably won't taste good.

When do I roast?
- Every bag is freshly roasted the same day you order, and shipped out the next morning. So you receive a fresh bag of beans that has been scientifically roasted to bring out the profile and flavors locked inside.

So now you don't have to drink burnt coffee anymore.
You don't have to worry about buying a bag of beans and hoping it wasn't over roasted. You don't have to worry about checking the roast date and having the barista stare at you awkwardly while you check the bags. (I speak from lots of experience.)

The options are always rotating depending on supply. But just because it's not on the site doesn't mean it isn't available so please email me for any special requests.

I have two simple desires in life

to sit with Jesus, and to share good coffee with people.

I started roasting back in 2022 after sharing a vision with my good friend Evan and my brother Derek, a dream of creating a House of Bethany (Read Below). A place where people could gather, sit with Jesus, and experience His presence. Because that's what we would do. Just sit together and spend hours around a bonfire, talking about the Lord, and Jesus would meet us there.

One night, Evan felt the Lord tell him to give me $900, all the money he had at the time, so I could buy a small roaster and begin. I roasted for a few months before moving to Florida for Bible school, putting the dream on pause.

Now, in 2025, that dream is coming back to life one step at a time.
